Ed Sanangura
Director
As the founding member of Evolution Road Solutions (ERS), Ed Sanangura plays a pivotal role in steering the company’s growth and strategic direction. Ed holds a BSc (Hons) Business Studies Degree from the University of Zimbabwe, a BBA Marketing Degree, and a Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Institute of Marketing Management of South Africa. His business expertise has been further sharpened through rigorous technical and management training during his tenure with the British American Tobacco Group.
With over 15 years of global and multinational experience in the FMCG industry, Ed has held senior managerial positions across the Africa Middle East region, Europe, and Southeast Asia, building a wealth of knowledge in business operations and leadership.
In 2009, following his tenure with British American Tobacco, Ed established a consultancy in Johannesburg, offering strategic services to non-multinational tobacco companies. His focus on technological advancements, brand strategy, and rapid market entry enabled clients to achieve exceptional growth, with their products dominating markets in Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
In 2014, Ed expanded ERS by founding its road haulage division, catering to the logistics needs of local and regional clients. Under his leadership, this division has excelled in delivering on-time, in-full cargo shipments, solidifying ERS as a trusted logistics partner.
Ed’s influence extends beyond ERS, as he sits on the boards of several companies across Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Malawi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mauritius, and the UAE, bringing his strategic insights and operational expertise to diverse industries.
Nyasha Machoko
Client Liaison Manager
Nyasha Machoko serves as the dedicated liaison between ERS and its clients, ensuring seamless communication and tailored logistics solutions. Nyasha holds a Bachelor of Social Science Degree from Monash University, an Honors Degree in Development Studies from the University of Cape Town, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management from Cranefield College.
With her expertise, Nyasha acts as a logistics concierge, providing end-to-end support, customised transportation plans, and timely updates. Her dedication to delivering exceptional customer care ensures high satisfaction levels, making her an invaluable advocate for ERS clients.
Petros Qongwane
Operations Controller
Petros Qongwane is the backbone of ERS’s operational efficiency. A holder of a Diploma in Mechanics from Mzuzu Technical College, Malawi, Petros oversees daily operations, ensuring the timely availability of trucks and the smooth delivery of client cargo.
His expertise in back-office maintenance and logistics optimisation contributes significantly to enhancing supply chain efficiency throughout the value chain, making him a key player in ERS’s operational success.
Brenda Mkonto
Bookkeeper & Office Administrator
Brenda Mkonto is a meticulous and detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in managing financial records. She ensures accuracy and compliance in all financial submissions and oversees the smooth functioning of ERS’s administrative operations.
Brenda’s commitment to excellence supports both clients and suppliers, providing vital back-office assistance and ensuring the seamless execution of financial and administrative tasks.
